The Drybulk Service of H-LINE Shipping, which started when the company concluded a dedicated carrier contract with Pohang Iron & Steel Co. (currently, POSCO) for the first time in 1972, has been a core business for H-LINE Shipping which uses the company’s latest supersized bulk carriers to transport raw materials and energy, a backbone of the national key industry, to domestic and foreign super major shippers and customers

In particular, H-LINE Shipping owns over 90% of the operating fleets as company-owned ships to provide customers with the best service and improve the efficiency and reliability of fleet operation and has successfully performed long-term transportation contracts with domestic super major shippers such as POSCO, Korea Electric Power Corporation, HYUNDAI STEEL COMPANY, etc. and Global major companies such as Vale, etc.

​ The main routes of H-LINE Shipping’s Drybulk service range from the producing countries of raw materials such as Australia, Canada, Brazil, Indonesia, etc. to discharging ports where the national infrastructure is located such as Pohang, Gwangyang, Pyeongtaek, Boryeong, Hadong, Samcheonpo, Dangjin, Taean, etc., through which the company is actively carrying out the iron ore transport service between the main ports of Brazil and China while performing a long-term transportation contract with Vale. The company will expand long-term transportation contracts with domestic and foreign major shippers and strengthen it business competitiveness to expand our service area to the whole world. ​
